A Fire Inside

So. Last night I saw AFI at Northern Lights. It was intense.

The opening act, Gallows, was AMAZING. They are one of the few, true, punk rock bands left... AND THEY ARE BRITISH!

The crowd was great, AFI was great, and I love small venues.
I had a great view of the entire band. It was great.

Davey's crazy, ecstatic stage presence was balanced by Jade's solid, relaxed, but dynamic presence. It was intense.

I love them both so much.

The set list was PERFECT. They closed the show with Miss Murder then Silver and Cold (<--- favorite song ever by them).

I felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest.

Also, the live songs from Crash Love were infinitely better than off of the actual album.
And the album, which I used to hate, is starting to grow on me.

For a night, I remembered what love was like.
